The Rifle Club was founded in 1912, for $10.00 a share for the original rectangle building. It was located where the Orange Grove Middle School now sits. It got its name from the guns that were used when they would have shooting practice. Once a month they would have target shooting and Pigeon Shooting, it would usually take place on a Sunday.
After a fire, the current hall was built in 1932 with the first dance being held in January of 1933. It was built by the members of the Rifle Club and has continued to hold public and private events for 88 years.
The hall is no longer being used for shooting practice, but for public dances, weddings, receptions, community events, and other events that can be held indoors.
If you want more information or want to rent the hall please feel free to contact us.
